BALTIMORE, MD (WJZ)– Baltimore police say they were called to the 400 block of East Baltimore Street around 1:28 a.m. for a report of a shooting.

When officers arrived they located a 42-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the back and upper arm.

Medics transported the victim to a local hospital where they are listed in stable condition.

This shooting comes just days after state Senator Bill Ferguson said the state and city will work together to find new ways to prevent violent crime in the area.

Ferguson stopped short of moving forward with legislation that would attempt to close businesses on “The Block” at 10 p.m. after objections from business owners.

HAPPENED IN INKSTER MICHIGAN. ABOUT 10 YEARS AGO. THE POLICE HEADQUARTERS WAS MOVED RIGHT INTO THE MIDDLE OF THE HOE STROLL. TWO SEPARATE MURDERS IN THE MOTELS ON MICHIGAN AVE. TWO STRIP CLUBS 2 MILE A WEST AND 1 LESS THAN A MILE EAST.
