It's not really a totally accurate assessment given that some of these school have only reached the regional final maybe once and it's been 5-6 years since they did it.

However, it is no secret the Big East was the definition of a super conference. Now their wealth is being spread throughout 3 conferences..

Big XII and B1G are in good shape but Texas (who did make the list) has not looked good at all of late...they need to get it together.

Surprising that Indiana has not made an Elite 8 in a long time..

its not that surprising. Indiana hasnt been the same since Calbert Cheany graduated.

I think they have only made it to the Elite 8 twice in 20 years.

They are a blue blood program, so you expect coverage when they are good but Indiana havent been much of anything special since 1993.

They were receiving a lot of attention last year also. Started 12-0, beat Kentucky, 3-1 in the conference with wins over OSU and Michigan. Then they fell off until the Kentucky rematch where there was still a lot of people picking them to win.. They played alright, I never gave them much of a chance of beating UK again.

hate on the ACC all you want, but i'd rather watch an ACC conference game where the players are allowed to get up and down the floor but still have the refs call a fair game, instead of watching the big 10 where the players have to damn near be bleeding to earn a foul call with their refs thinking they are calling a football game.

Conference realignment fukked the ACC up I miss the 9 team era.

03-04 season alone had 7-8 tough outs in league play and PG position was stacked.

Yeah Maryland after the championship in 02 should've remained a consistant top 15-20 program especially with all the talent in the DC era and a brand new arena.

Hard to believe UMD has made the NCAA tourney only 3 times out of 9 years since the ACC expanded starting in 04-05.
