IMO the best non playoff game of MJ's career. 59 points on Easter Sunday against the Bad Boy Pistons on national televised CBS game. Huge game in other ways because right after this game Chuck Daly vowed to never let MJ beat Detroit again by himself and created the Jordan Rules defense specifically off this performance and started the late 80's Pistons-Bulls rivalry

I knew someone would mention the game against Cleveland.

This game was nationally televised, jumpstarted the Bulls-Pistons rivalry and did it against the eventual Eastern Conference champs and eventual back to back NBA champs
