He clearly told Siri to "cancel golf" because its date-night. Samuel Jackson talks to his phone every day because he needs reminders for the most menial of tasks like remembering to put soup that should be cold on ice and to take things he puts into the oven out of it lest his home burn down.
Also, isn't golf played during the daytime? Why would that conflict with an evening date? Furthermore, why would he need to tell Siri he isn't going golfing? He could simply.... NOT GO GOLFING.
