Sitcoms with live audiences wouldn't work today.. the crowd would spoil episodes on social media

Man there would be so much fukkery with ppl in the crowd spoiling episodes that have yet to air. No social media in the 90s and older decades with sitcoms so this wasn't a issue

In this day and age of clout chasing I think spoiling episodes would be the less of the worries.

Reminds me I use to read Smackdown spoilers online cause it was taped on Tuesdays but aired Fridays. This was in 2006 in a internet Cafe at Wendy's I was a huge wrestling neckbeard in 8th grade I assume causal wrestling fans wasn't on those sites.


Only wrestling spoiler I would be mad about is a wrestler making a surprise comeback.


I have no idea if wrestling spoilers is still a thing, as I only watch WWE PPV's once in a blue moon. I know there was a poster who negged with GoT spoilers but I assume he got the spoilers from the books the show is based on.

What if they did it in real time tho?

This is what SNL does, it really is a live show on Saturday But I don't this would work for sitcoms due to the actors botching their lines sometimes and thus having to do a retake.


Even on SNL from the few times I saw it, Micheal Che be breaking character and laughing at the lines he's reading
