"American" culture encourges the people that subscribe to it to mask their true thoughts & feelings and to only reveal what they believe other people want to see or hear when in public. This is why the people that subscribe to it are so uncomfortable when dealing with people that don't subscribe to it. It is also why they look so lost when they are seperated from it. But I've found there are circumstances that even the most deceptive devil finds it difficult to mask their true nature.
One such circumstance is competing for parking in a congested area. I've found that this is a perfect time to see the true cut throat nature of a person that would normally not reveal it. If you watch these people after they cut someone's throat for a space you will typically find their reaction afterwards to be one of pure cowardice if confronted. I also find that these people's interactions with the needy give glimpes of their uncompassionate nature as well. If in their cars, they will typically avoid eye contact with the people asking for something and pretend they don't see them. If on the street around them they become fearful and will lie if approached and hurridly scurry away or go out of their way to avoid passing them alotogether. They also reveal their inconsiderate natures when crossing the street at intersections where the pedistrian has the right a-away. At these crossings, they will enter the street regardless of how close a car is to entering the intersection (forcing some drivers to have to slam on breaks) and casually walk across, giving no consideration to moving a little faster for the driver.
These are but a few instances I'll start the thread off with, but to those that are aware, what are instances that you have observed what I am describing?
I'm SURE A LOT of posters on here are these very types of people I am referring to (I can tell it in your posts) so feel free to post from your perspective on the topic
