What industries are y'all in? y'all must be at director/ executive level at high end companies to be banking like this :ohhh:

Manager work in telecom. Also 100k plus is pretty obtainable depending on the industry and qualifications.

I know truck drivers who make 400k a year. So the money is out there just figure out what you want to do.

shyt can feel pretty cozy but you basically get caught up in the day to day and it doesn’t feel that different. I mostly just love not having the daily reminder of financial stress that I had in my early 20s.

I rent a condo w/ a nice city view. Kinda wanna buy something but price tags for the type of spot I have now are like 700-800k. Atlanta is cheaper than most big cities but it’s getting expensive down here too.

I drive a Lexus F-Sport which is nice but I got it because I wanted something easy to maintain, I don’t need a BMW or Porsche, and no constant trips to the mechanic etc. I also paid for 2/3 of it in cash so my car note is light work.

I got no kids and my lady makes a little over 100k, so we mostly get to just enjoy city life and spoil my nephew and niece. But I’m already lowkey paranoid about if we have kids and how much that’s gonna cost me. I wanna try and be legit rich by the time we have our first kid no joke.

To me the biggest luxury is being able to make impromptu travel trips I never coulda done when I was living check to check. I went to Italy a few weeks ago, shyt was lifechanging. Hadn’t seen a good friend in years so I up and scheduled a quick trip to Dallas on the fly, shyt like that I used to have to put off like ‘maybe next quarter if I get this bonus check’.

A lotta shyt you fantasize about buying ‘if only you had’ 50k in the bank or whatever…. You realize once you get it that you don’t wanna blow money on those same frivolous things..

I know what it’s like to have $37 in your account on Monday and you don’t get paid till Friday. I spent most of my early 20s broke as shyt and 10s of thousands in credit card debt. I could go spend 10-15k today and tear down a luxury store, but I’d honestly feel dumb as shyt on the drive home. Like somebody else said, life isn’t a fashion show. If you’re in shape you can find good clothes at Marshall’s, whereas you got some of these rappers w/ fat ass bellies lookin ridiculous in designer and skinny jeans. :mjlol:Women will notice if you got money without the brand names, trust that.

In a way money can almost become more valuable to you when you have more of it, because you know what it can do. If you gave 24 year old me 25k, I’d run to Lenox and blow 10-15 of it immediately Now I look at 10-15 like that could be 1/3 of a down payment on a house, or could get my pops a little closer to paying off his final debts and retiring.

Edit : Shidddd I will say one thing I blow $ on casually is eating out :whew: I’m not sparing an expense when I eat out for all the nights I had to thug it out on a Wendy’s 4 for 4. I eat so much sushi I might fukk around and get mercury poisoning. That and Braves / Hawks tickets. I used to be in the nosebleeds now you can prolly see me on TV:takedat:
