If Embiid played in the 80s or 90s his career would have been as short as Ralph Sampson's

With all the advanced technology, load management, etc. he can at least be happy he's made a crazy amount of money. Two more seasons I give him the most before he retires from basketball.
To the contrary.

Big ass 7fters like him aren't built to play in today's game. If he came up in the 80s/90s where everything was inside-out and he didn't have to worry about defending the PnR and running out to the 3-pt line, his body would've had less wear and tear.

I think he's always hurt because he's lazy

Facts. I got a suspicion that he doesn't take his rehabs seriously

This year was the only year he's shown up to training camp in shape. Every other year, he always uses training camp to "get in shape"

Yeah I get what you're saying, but he was also injury prone right at the start of his career. Missed first two seasons. Never made past 2nd round, now let's add like 7 extra playoff games per year where players have to go hard if Sixers were a better team... He'd be retired by now.
