The debate is already sorted…. We never have and never will get jiggy with that shyt.

That said, UK rappers can rap their ass off. I fukk with Nines heavy. But what they dont understand is, the average rap fan over here will never fukk with that shyt. People are not gonna get past those accents and also it’s just a different culture over there to where we not relating like we do to rappers over here. So while they can rap, don’t nobody over here really wanna hear that shyt.
This is the truth they can't seem to accept. Slick Rick is the closest they'll ever get.

UK/USA Debate? There is no debate going on though lol.

UK is the home of the English language, In London, England they dont even speak English it is Patois. No one outside the UK invests in black music or entertainment. You would think the home of Charles dikkens, John Keats and William Shakespeare would produce some decent wordsmith or dart throwers but nah it is pretty much Kingston, Jamaica all over influencing all UK moves.

ie. UK music, entertainment and culture are garbage! Never seen someone in a decent whip bumping anything from the UK. It is normally people on Buses, trains and hatchbacks. :hubie:

Oh it is accepted Bro.

What you have is like the (ruins of the glory days of hiphop) all these media outlets like Mags, Stations, Podcast are all trying to benefit off a fake hype "UK Wave" The two biggest stars arguably are Stromzy and Giggs. They do not even sell units in the UK yet alone anywhere else. It is just people trying to manipulate a healthy competition or even healthy output.

People do not watch UK black shows or movies like that. I do not watch 'TopBoy' I'm a grown man but I heard it had cross over state appeal because black culture is obsessed with crime and malevolence. Anything that is major in the UK first got a US cosign like Idris Elba, Adamson Idris, that Michaela Cole and etc.

Do not worry it is the same unemployed people hyping up "artists" they never even put money down to support. It's all hype and the common denominator is people do not understand the UK slang or so called English. The money made off black entertainment here is very little. A white rapper from the UK called Central Cee who did a track with Lil Baby got like 40 million but that's rare and unprecedented.

EDIT : (let me sum this up a little better)

Sort of like if there was no USA hiphop there will be no DJ AK, Angie, podcasts, magazines, etc ... So the UK "hiphop" and the people who have invested in it would love to see a debate about UK vs. USA but it does not exist. There is so little money in UK black entertainment due to many factors but the uk music as a whole does not generate numbers you need a US co-sign.

Just goes back to the UK rappers being average and hyped to try to portray a healthy music culture taking place, when it truly is not.

SKEPTA had to smash Adele and Naomi Campbell before he got on GQ,Vogue and that. He is a UK Asap Rocky. A glorified gigalo and male escort. :hubie:

We don’t respect n***as with kings. The UK hasn’t produced too much of anything worth my attention.
