Me, myself and I
I'm definitely the wrong person to ask as I very rarely break out and I have no set skin regimen.

I'm very basic and luckily can use whatever I want. When I'm cheap I stick with regular soap and black soap. If Noxema is cheap I'll use that, but it's been a long time. I moisturize with Ponds, sometimes grapeseed oil. Years ago I used to use this Vitamin E facial cream from Keihls but I no longer use their products (being cheap). I think this was it.

Any extras I use (masks, etc) are product trial sizes from beauty boxes or cheap $1 facial stuff from F21.

Mandelic Acid At Home Chemical Peel 25%
I always take care of my skin but I had some marks from a bad break out last year that were being stubborn. I had this peel but never used it. Well a few weeks back I used it for the first time but there was no real difference, I used it again 2 weeks ago and my face has been looking so lovely. My face is smooth, my color is evening out and my skin looks and feels so soft. I bought a couple other items from there, the mandelic serum and also the toner. I use a retinol cream that I bought from Ulta

It has really helped to minimize my pores which was one of my biggest issues even when my skin was clear. I use baking soda (a lil bit in a wash cloth) to scrub my face and get rid of the dead skin like 2-3 times a weak. I use Shea butter mixed with the retinol cream at night and I wake up with my mug looking so fresh faced.
I've tried a lot of different products but so far this is what has really worked for me and made a difference.

Oh and I regularly wash my face with Dudu osun black soap but I also have this cleanser

That I use occasionally. Also if you are using these products ur gonna need a good sunscreen spf 30 or more. I use a tinted moisturizer on my face that already comes with sunscreen.

Now if you wanna go the natural route, oil cleansing is good for getting rid of dirt. Using acv for toner will help an coconut oil mixed with rose hip or diluted rose absolute oil is amazing on skin. I like to use the Himalayan clay mask to pull out the sebum and oils that give me bumps. They have a bunch of different essential oils that have vitamin a in them like carrot oil that's good for marks and also turmeric mask are good for dark spots too.

I have done different things that have worked when I need them to.

Going the most natural route: honey lemon sugar face scrub (Brown or natural sugar, lemon juice and organic honey. ), rinse with warm water and then use a cotton pad to apply witch hazel after.

I have used the Boscia skin care line. I got it from Sephora. It was really good.

What a currently use when needed is Shea Moisture Black soad line. The scrub, the toner and the mask.

I use ivory bar soap & various African soaps too. I like the blue Nile & another one... I can't think of the name but I'll take a pic of them when I buy some more. Black soap is :blessed: but it's very messy.

Outside of nails, this is the one thing I am obsessed with.

:ohhh:Maybe I should work in a skincare store.

Anyway, right now I wash myself twice daily with Origins Checks and Balances and depending on how dry my skin is, I use Neutrogena daily moisturizer. Every Sunday, after I deep condition my hair, I exfoliate with a (boar head?) brush and spray my skin with Origins Skin Optimizing Face Primer, followed with the Origins Charcoal mask. Once I'm done with the mask I spread on an Origins moisturizer, but I can't remember the name of it and it was a sample I was given that has lasted for months (she gave me a crap load of samples that day). For any red bumps or under the skin acne (I guess cysts?) I dab the area with pure tea tree oil. I used to use black soap from the African store nearby for the occasional pop ups on my body, and it worked, but it used to dry out my skin so bad I was starting to itch real bad, so I combined shea butter and olive oil and put that on after a shower. Unfortunately, I am addicted to Dove because I've been using it since I was two, which doesn't help with breakouts but I be smelling saintly :blessed: so I'm using the liquid body wash at the moment with exfoliating gloves and this long back scrub thing. The scrubbing keeps away any breakouts except during my period, when pretty much anything goes. :yeshrug:

I use the Clinique 3 step system, so far I like it. I think the biggest downside is the cost for some people because you have to buy them separately.

Right now I'm using Dove Winter Care body wash as my facial cleanser bc it's so moisturizing and it my cheeks get super dry(just my cheeks tho lol idk why) and apply cocoa butter(the solid kind not the lotion) mixed with pure coconut oil after

I've recently bought Shea Moisturizer clay mask to try out too, but other than that I'll crush up some vitamin C pills and mix it with water or honey for a face mask
