Sleeping the night before Christmas Unappreciation Thread

When I was little this was the hardest shyt to do

Shut my eyes at 10, thinkin "yea ima wake up to some presents!"

Close my eyes, wake up, look at the clock... 10:40

Felt like I was in bed for weeks smh

I know I wasn't alone in this

Anytime I even alluded to the idea of getting shyt for Christmas, my parents would shut that shyt down with the quickness.

christmas used to be the most exciting thing ever. I'd stay up all night damn near every christmas eve because I couldn't sleep. Now I'm the one in the family oversleeping and giving no fukks about Christmas. Even though I am excited to get presents.
