for me this is one of the best albums in the past 15 years. rhymes,beats,stories,the flow and wordplay. good features .. from the moment u hear the intro with the footsteps in jail u know this is gonna be some epic shyt. even the fukking cover is classic.

a veteran making his return to hip hop. we need this guy back in the game ..

Really good album, that I really enjoy, has many songs I love and consider classic. It's also highly unique in it's approach/style, not many projects like this, when you consider the stories, innocence, flavour, vibes, it's just really really dope shyt...

he wasn't afraid to make his own album. thats why its so unique imo. the guy mastered the art of being mellow on a hook but keeping it gangster with the rhymes. its exactly what he titled the album .. art ..

i read somewhere that he was waiting for the right time to make a new album. i think slick rick is the type of guy that could make an album right now and it be a hit. u cant front on his style and the quality of his music. he is the fukking word swagger .. i hope he gets in the studio soon

And based off that record that he dropped for that soundtrack . . it's safe to say Slick Rick's still got it and is still one of the most unique talents and lyrical personalities in hip-hop. I hope to see more work from him, hopefully in the form of an album

That's 1 of the many standouts . Concept is ILL, expertly executed. I Own America Part 2 is also a song I love the sound of. Memories is a beautiful song too, really love that vibe. It's got a lot of dope shyt.
