I'll start...

This applies to Kobe, melo, and others.

Scorer type players will sometimes, intentionally pass the ball to offensively challenged players with the time winding knowing the offensively challenged player is just gonna pass it back to them. Happens a lot at the end of quarters and games.

Eric Bledsoe was the king of that at the start of the season:russ:

Worse than that is when a guy passes to a teammate at the end of the shot clock so that he himself doesn't have to end up with the missed field goal or turnover.

LeBron requesting the Cavs create a new age scoreboard in their arena that shows every stat for a player including FG% so he can be sure to pass up difficult looks in the game if that fg% starts dipping below 50%.

I saw that shyt last night in the Bucks/Cavs game and was blown away. I always grew up seeing just points and fouls next to a players name on the scoreboard. I know some arenas expanded it to include rebounds and assists. Couldn't believe Cleveland had fg%, steals, and blocks on their as well.

Guess Bron gotta know what he needs to keep the analytics nerds on his d1ck. :yeshrug:

few years ago when paul pierce was worth something...he'd try so hard to shoot above 50 percent...he forego shooting 40 footers at the end of quarters to preserve his stats
shyt on the same teams...rajon rondo would be underneath the god damn rim by himself....but pass out for a cheap assist...so he could lead the league in assists

This is why I never try to use stats to say whether player A is better than player B. Great players can easily manipulate this shyt.

Its why I never got on the Kevin Love or Steph Curry train. When nikkas was trying to convince us they were all-timegreat cause of the numbers they put up I said nope. And thankfully the finals exposed both of them as frauds.

:what: thats a terrible example to use
steph is a volume shooter...that shoots a high percentage.
how do you manipulate shooting a high percentage when you take 30 foot 3 pointers regularly :what:
also who put kevin love up anywhere with any greats all time :what:

Steph Curry doesn't play defense. His offensive game is a gimmick. And when he plays real teams like the Cavs in the finals he gets exposed.

nikka is Steve Nash status.
