@jadillac got a good thread bout that underrated seven streeter/chris brown song
but i wanted to do a slight spin off of that and do one bout 2 big sean songs. now i've never checked for big music nor have i ever heard any of his albums but "play no games" is a great song that felt underrated when you compare it to most of the shyt that was big this year like fetty wop or any of drake's typical bullshyt. but sean had a song that should've been far bigger and popular song that it was. it got radio play but it's songs like this that i feel like should be all over the radio like clockwork when it comes to this new generation. "play no games" had great use of guy's "piece of my love" and the video was classic with the martin homage he paid
then, he dropped this song right here, which my sister (who don't even listen to no new hip hop short of what she hears me talkin' bout which is not much at all) put me onto like a week ago after she heard it on the radio
now "one man can change the world" spoke to me with his come up story and specifically the part where he talks about his grandma and even includes her at the end of the song; because my grandma was my world and i felt like sean dropped a song that is definitely missin' in hip hop, a song that anybody could relate with a very positive message. this song should be a number 1 hit
why ain't this song gettin' played left and right all over the radio, bruhs?
