First picture is of me about 5 lbs lighter the last two are the most recent...I will be doing a clean bulk eating more calories but still be healthy about it and will be doing 10 minutes of H.I.I.T cardio twice a week in addition to a reverse pyramid style workout

I will be doing the first two sets at near my max for 3 reps with 2 minutes rest

then i will lower the weight and the next two sets quickly near failure for about 10-12 reps

I am currently about 143 my goal is to get to 165 by february and see how it looks...once i'm at 165 if can't see my abs i will cut down to 155

How tall are you? I swear short nikkas got it easy with the weight and how it looks on their frames. :to:

youre at a good starting point, and february is a pretty feasible end date

lock down the protein and diet and focus on increasing weight or reps and before you know it your weight goal will be in reach

or better yet you may not even need that much weight yet look better anyways :leon: ive realized that weight fluctuates so much and what you want to look like isnt always tied to the weight you have associated with it, but the one thing that never lies to you is how much youre lifting

will be keeping tabs, hope to see some good gains

I haven't maxed out the squats because I'm trying to gain size there so I've been doing super sets of squats lunges and split squats with the 45 on each side...my max from years ago was I believe 3 45s on each side

exactly what routine are you running?

My own modified reverse pyramid...for a while if I wanted to bulk I'd do low weight high rep to near failure...to cut I would do heavy with lots of rest and h.i.i.t with steady state

Now I'm just combining both so I can get a good strength training base and then lower the weight to rep to failure for some sarcoplasmic growth...it should be a good routine you can do year round to look big and cut

still at 140 although i'm lifting heavier weights and i like how i'm responding to the reverse pyramid workout i'm doing i'm really going to have to up the calories i guess
