Sure he could have. But he not only slapped me but he embarrassed me too, because he knew that embarrassment is a way to circumvent bad behavior because no boy wants to be embarrassed in front of his little friends.
And he was right. Because after getting slapped in front of my friends, i stopped acting up in class cause I didn't want my dad to come back and embarrass me again.
