The Miz kicked off the show with his MizTV segment with Sheamus. The segment was interrupted by Kofi Kingston and then Big Show. Sheamus wants his rematch but Show walked out. Sheamus and Kofi cleared the ring of Miz and then stared each other down. Teddy Long came out and announced a tag match main event between all four opponents.
1) The Prime Time Players defeated Sin Cara and Rey Mysterio. Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose attacked Cara and Mysterio after the match. Ambrose dropped Cara headfirst onto the steel steps while Rollins beat on Mysterio's knee with a chair. They cut a promo about how they feel people aren't taking them seriously since they eased up on the brutality. It won't happen again.
2) Wade Barrett defeated Randy Orton with a helping hand from Alberto Del Rio. Both men put the boots to Orton after the match but he recovered and hit RKOs on them both.
3) The Great Khali vs. David Otunga ended in a no contest after Tensai ran in and attacked both men.
A video recap is played of the HIAC screwjob. Ryback came out and cut a short promo on his hunger and said he was more ravenous than ever. Booker T. announced an impromptu match between Ryback and 3MB, RIGHT NOW.
4) Ryback defeated the 3MB in a squash. He attempted a 3 for one shellshock but couldn't life them all so he tried two and struggled but he eventually pulled it off with Slater and McIntyre and delivered a stiff spear to Mahal.
Randy Orton and Alberto Del Rio are in a backstage segment which eventually concludes with Matt Striker being RKO'd into a cake.
5) R-Truth defeated Justin Gabriel in a squash.
Layla is found laid out in the loading dock, a pool of blood formed around her head.
6) The Miz & World Heavyweight Champion The Big Show defeated Sheamus and Kofi Kingston in the main event after Kofi walked out on Sheamus. Show hit the WMD on Sheamus for the victory. After the match Kingston returned to the ring with his IC Title and hit Miz with it. Mark Henry lumbered to the ring and had a stare down with Show before attacking Sheamus with Kofi. The tapings ended with Sheamus being put through the announce table by Kofi.
It was announced either at the event or after that The Big Show will defend his World Heavyweight Title in a rematch against Sheamus at next month’s WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view.
Before the show, WWE had been hyping a continuation and update on the Brad Maddox refereeing controversy from Sunday and then the AJ Lee/John Cena affair storyline, but nothing of the sort happened during the tapings. Of course it could be that possible segments are shot in the future and then edited into the broadcast.
