SmackDown opens with a Roddy Piper tribute.

* Roman Reigns vs. Rusev was announced for later tonight.

* Reigns kicked off SmackDown in the ring with a promo on Bray Wyatt. Rusev interrupted and warned Reigns about their match later tonight.

* Mark Henry and The Prime Time Players defeated The New Day in a six-man match.

* Charlotte vs. Naomi was restarted as a tag team match due to interference.

* Sasha Banks and Naomi defeated Charlotte and Becky Lynch.

* Stardust defeated Zack Ryder.

* Roman Reigns defeated Rusev in the main event.

Rusev is now a LOSER? Yikes. And Reigns is back again in the main events of Smackdown. Didn't take long.

Me too...way too good to be losing in fluff matches. All of these contenders and now Nikki isn't defending the belt and is doing tag and fukking 6 man matches...this is an ALL TIME great champion? When the fukk was Trish doing that? Lita? Mickie? They had Mickie kick everyone's ass after WM 22 week after week as the fans cheered her heel antics

That was a weird opening promo for both Reigns and Rusev. Rusev said he was going to call Roman "Lana" in the ring? I wish they'd stick to Roman just being about business and not trying to be the joking face.
