I actually really liked this show back in the day
so they have all just legit said forget creating something new I see. I'm tired of reboots.
Like they could legit just steal ideas from these shows and merge them together. Welp at least its a black family show.

Most things aren't new if you really think about it. They are either rip offs of something else or someone's new twist on something else or just a formulaic retread.

While I am rebooted out I would think since especially in SITCOMS they follow the same formulas even include the same type of episodic content why don't creators or networks green light new things....I mean even if they rebooted the smart guy it's going to be with him as a parent and I am assuming his son/daughter will be a genius etc. Same exact thing. Like remix it and have Mo's child the genius and Mowry's kid as the Mo type or base the show around the Jason Weaver type character. I'm just hoping it's not the same thing.
It’s the older millennial crowd with younger kids they going for. This brings the nostalgia which is big on streaming, and they can watch with kids. All these reboots following this model. I’d actually be interested to see where they take this
