Would rather see them reveal games than ramble on about sales and tv features for 30 min, like Sony and MS will be doing at their press conferences

I think the awkwardness and fukk ups are classic E3 traditions, so it's sad to know that we're not getting something as awkward as this from Nintendo this year.



Their Direct videos are fine, but they're a bit boring to me.

Nah, its the fact that Japan abandoned consoles for handheld devices and the lack of diverse games being sold at retail stores nowadays is the problem. The cash grab days of gaming are over.

Um, Nintendo IS going to be at E3.

All im seeing is that they wont hold a conference to journalist that hate's them to begin with, I don't know where the hell you guys are getting your info saying that they aren't going to be at E3.
Especially since it says right in the header that they're hosting a Smash tourney at the fukking Nokia Theater AT E3.

I haven't finished the article but this seems to be what they did last year? Meh its a bad business decision imo but we'll see. And to be fair, most gamers associate E3 with the press conferences.

This post doesnt make sense on many levels though. I was one of the ppl that thought the Direct and show floor approach was bad last year but when I looked up major media outlets such as IGN, Forbes, USA Today, etc actually covered what Nintendo showed just like with MS and Sony.

The issue is that they're preaching to the choir and being insular just like the days of the 64, but your comments and many others on The Coli have shown that you have no interest in the product they have on shelves. So what does it really matter at this point? I think many have already made up their mind about whether to get a 3DS or Wii U at this point.
