I understand why they're pissed, even though the only reason these videos are called the "Harlem Shake" is because the song played in the videos is named that. They're not trying to do the Harlem shake, they're imitating an unrelated dance that one person did in a video that caught on and went viral.

Still, I doubt anyone questioned about it in Harlem knows that though, and I think it's reasonable for someone who is uninformed on that fact to be upset if they just quickly watched the video, because it comes across as a bunch of yuppie ass white people trying to steal and transform a dance that's a part of Harlem culture.
