It’s weird how certain songs are like time capsules for you. Like for example, We got the Jazz by tribe is winter and I’m walking home from school and it’s cold and gray and smoke is coming out sewer grates. And I got my headphones on, just boppin. It just captures that moment.

This song? It’s coppin some trees from Harlem and driving back on the bruckner heading back down to the BX. Used to call it making runs to Mecca. And this song would be playing when we back on the highway twisting up. Mission accomplished.
