I vote for SnapBackFordyBeats - Better mix, I could hear and feel the bass and treble. I liked the change ups and it's something that would bump in the club and whip. I could hear somebody like Gucchi or Jeezy on it.

Ill Clinton - The beat is alright but the mix is flat. It sounds like it needs compression on the drums or some more bass. I think a better mix would take this beat to another level

Have you ever found a sample that made you step outside the box you usually put yourself in? that's what happened here, could backfire but :yeshrug:

voted for this based on the use of the amen break. my only issue with it is that its a very basic use of it something out of good looking records from the mid 90s but either way im nostalgic for it, so i voted for it,

Hmmm. I enjoy ill Clinton's beat more but snaps is better sonically I guess. Tough to decide when this happens but I think I'll go with ill Clinton.

Snap got my vote. Mixdown was cleaner, altho Im a creative head, Im big on production.

however, I respect illclinton 100% for going outside the box, and I am a firm believer that people should go outside the box in developing their OWN sound/style. Who does Pharrell sound like? Himself! Kanye? himself! Dre?Manny Fresh? you could play 10 tracks, and put a Pharrell beat in there, and undeniably I.D him because its a representation of him. when we hear the beat, we know thats pharrell. ask yourself, if they play 10 beats can they pick yours from the pack?

I :salute: anyone with the confidence to pull from their soul and create whats inside them. their own style.
