Im guessing He's saying that white writers are doing black comedy and taking Jobs away from black comics.

I disagree because this sketch was wild corney.

It doesn't have the edge or resonance of in living color. let alone the chappelle show.

This sketch feels like a "black" sketch written for white people. That cross culture comedic writing has rarely had the authenticity of the true stuff.

Now that you mention it yea it seems theres a hidden meta message underlying the whole thing, "hahah those silly blacks literally think were losing our minds over this Beyonce thing" there's a lot of little jokes thrown in to reinforce that "psst hey we're not really making fun you" vibe like the cheap gag about "duh I know he's black"

And not to mention the rational characters dryly and passively observing the chaos, that's a common trope in white comedy.

I finally saw the new video.

I honestly don't get what's so black about it compared to her other videos except the little kid dancing in front of the cops thing. I mean it's a "harder" vid compared to all her party song vids but still.
I think this whole Beyonce Superbowl thing has been blown way way waaayyyyy out of proportion.
But hey, this is the United States of America. Every little thing will be viewed in a black vs white lens, I guess :manny:
giuliani....he's one of those public figures that will get the attention of the entire news cycle anytime he speaks. especially on police/BLM matters. i doubt it would have been as big of a deal if he hadn't say anything.
