It was for the Death Row compilation album called Thug Pound to be released in 1997. There's way more from Daz and 2Pac's Thug Pound recording sessions. They re-recorded Life's So Hard when 2Pac first arrived at Death Row together too. The Death Row version was supposed to be on the now unreleased and unfinished Thug Pound album that Daz still has in his vault.
The Thug Pound album was essentially partly the songs that became Daz's Revenge & Get Back as well as Makaveli & Dillinger: Tha EP.
