It appears that beefing from 2002-2005 threw off Daz and Kurupt's chemistry. I believe them reuniting was strictly a business move because I refuse to believe that after all of that wild shyt Daz and Kurupt said towards each other that one day they come in the studio and everything is all love again. Especially with all of the wild shyt Daz was saying.

But the Thats My Work series been getting much better. The first two were ok but the 3rd one has Snoop finding his groove, The 4th featuring the Eastsidaz so we shall see how this pans out

Man some of the shyt they were saying about each other back then :russ: .someone should make a compilation. Anyone remember this?

Kurupt: "That bytch made nikka lies about everything. The nikka got pissed on, stripped butt naked, beaten to an oblivion and gang raped. I was trying to spare him the humilation of that but the bytch ass nikka deserves it now. Suge confided in me later than there were five nikkas that just fukked his ass literally. Daz probably walking around with the same shyt that got Eazy E. What also yall didn't know was that Daz was getting extorted for shyt also. He didn't want nikkas knowing he was pissed on, beaten, gang raped and ended up paying out hundreds of thousands of dollars so it wouldn't leak. But fukk it, I am leaking that now. What that bytch ass nikka gonna do? Not a muthafukking thing cause I will whoop his monkey ass from here to last week." :mindblown:

Daz: "Daz: I was on mushrooms one day, and you can ask Kurupt this story too... I was on mushrooms, and they didn't pay me for a song I did on the "Sunset Park" soundtrack. So I went in there and hemmed everybody up on Death Row. All the people in the office, Norman, Suge - sisters, husbands. "Give me my money!" Suge comes in the room, and when I looked in his eyes. I felt like he was gonna do something to me. So he put his arms around me, I put my arms around him and I had the screwdriver in my hand. He was moving me, and I was moving him. Now I was real little at that time, you know what I mean? But I wasn't scared of nothin'. The first thing that entered my mind was "Stick this nikka in his neck and if he dies - I go for self defence." Know what I mean? So he, knowing that I was gonna get busy, told me "Hold on! Hold on! Cool off..." I walked out of the office with a cheque for $145,000. I gave Kurupt's bytch ass $5000 in one's and he was still crying. Me, him and Hershey loc."

Not much of that classic G Funk sound if that's what you're looking for. The last 5 tracks are the better ones imo.

G-Funk? You serious? The shyt they stopped doing since 1996? Dogg Pound & Snoop been around WAAAAAAAAAY MORE and big after that. Stop riding fame my dude. It's about music & what you spit, not a particular popular sound at a popular time cuz everybody else talk about it.

Bringing this up again, as "nikkaz Iz On Me" came up in a random shuffle recently and I'm still fukkin with the song heavy, especially that beat. So are there any production credits for this tape (and the other ones in the series)?
"nikkaz Iz On Me" is produced by KJ Conteh I think (he also did Kush Ups), as Snoop gives a shout out to him in the beginning but no idea bout the rest

not really, Nottz/1500 or Nothin and some others took credits for some joints after the fact but theres no real credits. for a guy like Snoop who keeps shyt in the family and is very loyal, i thought that was weird
