whenever it's comes to me with gifts whether it's my birthday or christmas, all i've ever wanted was music so the christmas of 2000 was no different from any other year. i've been a snoop dogg fan since the chronic so my family already knew since snoop was puttin' out a new album in december of 2000; just a few days before christmas, what i wanted.

i was already hyped because snoop had already linked back up with dr. dre for the no limit top dogg album and at that time i thought that album was snoop's best since doggystyle. so i was anxious to see what new tracks they had worked on for this album. but i had no idea that snoop was going to do better than no limit top dogg and be as focused as he was for tha last meal.

this is the album where for the first time in a while a snoop dogg album sounded complete. the album flows effortlessly from song to song with snoop's focus and dr. dre along with jellyroll, timbaland, meech wells, battlecat, scott storch, soopafly etc brought snoop some great beats and production.

i still keep this album in heavy rotation. :ohlawd:

I PERSONALLY LIKED ALL OF SNOOP'S NO LIMIT ALBUMS!!!

HENNESEY N' BUDDAH

'Don't need no water to go with your order
And you aint got to smuggle the shyt up over the border
Affordable, sportable, unbelievable, feasible, and reasonable
We leavin' 'em low
Cuz me and my loc, keep big leaves of smoke
Gallons of Hennesey and 16 liters of coke
He done drank and she done smoked
The meters are broke, we put the vida to lo
I brought the weed to smoke
And Dr. Dre, he hooked the beat up, indeed it was dope'

THE WAY HE FLOWED ON THIS TRACK -TOO SMOOTH :whoo:

ALBUM IS FILLED WITH QUALITY SONGS,COOL FEATURES AND DOPE PRODUCTION

LAY LOW WITH THAT SMOOTH NATE DOGG HOOK AND THE EASTSIDAZ:ohlawd:

OTHER QUALITY TRACKS - SNOOP DOGG,TRUE LIES, WRONG IDEAS,GAME COURT, READY TO RYDE,SET IT OFF, Y'ALL GONE MISS ME :whew:

:ahh::ahh:

One of Snoop's better releases and last album on No Limit and to be perfectly honest I wasn't expecting much. But I was greatly surprised with this one because it was on No Limit but it sounds more like a West Coast album than a southern album, which brings back memories of Snoop's debut album..

snoop was watching kings of comedy on the intro song :pachaha:

1:50

dr. dre did the intro so i'm sure along with seein' the original kings of comedy and more than likely already havin' this ohio players record in his crates, he was probably reminded of just how great of a song i want to be free is.

Been bangin this album a lot lately, this shyt is just so fukkin dope, damn :ohlawd::whew:
Crazy thing is the album couldve been even doper/classic status if they added some of the songs from the advance/some leftovers instead of the few weaker songs on here :wow:

My favorite Snoop album...

I remember my Dad playing it on a rainy day in Spring 2001 in his Blue Honda when I was a kid.

Lay Low has been in my head for over 20 years now.

Snoop went out with a bang as No Limit was dying.
