Some saying Daz did Ain't No Fun, yet Daz himself said he didn't produce anything on Doggystyle and that it was "all Dre."
Mel-Man himself used to post on the Dre2001 message board (username mellowman) back in 2000/01 and never claimed Dre stole shyt from him and sang his praises endlessly. Although he did say that the Dre x Rakim album would drop in 2003

Dre does both. He is a beat maker and more importantly, a producer.
Yea Quincy is the greatest producer of all time. nikkas dont think he was in there with a MPC2000 and a 808 machine grinding it out. He was selecting the musicians songwriters, polishing songs, selecting mixes etc etc. Dre USED to do shyt like a beat maker in the NWA days but after a while you farm that shyt out and sit in the Exec chair.
