The weekly shyt on Dre thread :russell:

Some saying Daz did Ain't No Fun, yet Daz himself said he didn't produce anything on Doggystyle and that it was "all Dre."

Mel-Man himself used to post on the Dre2001 message board (username mellowman) back in 2000/01 and never claimed Dre stole shyt from him and sang his praises endlessly. Although he did say that the Dre x Rakim album would drop in 2003 :jbhmm:

Dre was never a beat maker. People brought beats to him and he would turn them into songs. Discrediting Dre is corny. All these songs would have been nothing without Dre’s involvement.

Dre does both. He is a beat maker and more importantly, a producer.

one day people will truly appreciate and understand the difference between beatmakers and producers.

Yea Quincy is the greatest producer of all time. nikkas dont think he was in there with a MPC2000 and a 808 machine grinding it out. He was selecting the musicians songwriters, polishing songs, selecting mixes etc etc. Dre USED to do shyt like a beat maker in the NWA days but after a while you farm that shyt out and sit in the Exec chair.
