I can't speak on solo tracks cuz I haven't heard enough of their respective solo material but off the first two eastsidaz albums and guest work at that time, and on a straight spitting basis, Tray outclasses Goldie

Now Goldie has come along way from when he debuted

But this isn't even a comparison for me

I have about every eastsidaz track, on top of every solo from both, tray maybe the better pure spitter but otherwise Goldie dominate tray deee in every facet, hood tracks, bytch tracks, pump tracks, hyphy, on top of energy, metaphors, and his superb storytelling ability....

Goldie solo is 20x the artist than he was as a eser, Tray deed solo is pure snoozer and could only be tolerated in bits n pieces

Ditto. He clearly had good tracks in 2005/6 involving 50 Cent, but the 98-02 style was so incredible
