Obviously the songs sound similar, and Dre just did some tweaking for Can’t C Me

Different rap styles of course, with Pac full of energy and spitting hard, while Snoop had laid back and seemingly effortless flow.

Which do you prefer?

When I first heard it back then, I couldn't believe that Dre just used the same beat over. There has to be some truth to what everyone says about him. Some say he's a hard working with hundreds and hundreds of songs in his vault, but others say he's lazy and take too goddamn long just to do one song. 2pac in an interview said that Dre was taking months to do one song and it frustrated him. Suge in one of his prison interviews said that he didn't want Dre getting a studio in his house because, and I quote "if he has a studio at home, he's never going to get anything done..". J Prince said he was chasing Dre for a while just to get one beat for Scarface on his album ('game over' with the Enter the Dragon sample).

I remember when I bought pac album home from tower records feb '96.. I was dismade at how similiar the beat for U can't see me was. It felt like Dre didn't want to be a part of the All Eyez sessions at all to be honest. That's further cemented when you find out that "Can see me" was originally a Dre and cube Helter Shelter track that they passed to the dogg pound. shyt was sitting around for awhile.
