Depends on what you have to give up.

In order to get an actual valuable SF you’d have to give a team Rui. That’s gonna be their first ask. And he’s an elite catch and shoot guy in the NBA at this point. You’d only have LeBron who would be consistent from that aspect if you got rid of him

I just don’t think you’d be able to get anything of value trading DK/Vando and those are the types of guys the Lakers need to find a way to flip

Maxi/Gabe have a role on this team but their contracts make them trade bait obviously for the right pieces

If LeBron accepts being a role player, this team could be dangerous. Diving on the floor for loose balls, being the heart & soul of the team, a positive locker room presence, etc

A statline of 15, 5 & 5 is all they need from him. Lead by voice and let Luka and AR lead by example

Lebron needs to do whatever is required for the matchup or the game

If they are blitzing Reaves/Luka he’s gotta be the head of the snake on 4v3 situations. Hes gotta be the backline defender along with Ayton and QB the defense and take the high level wing assignments late in the 4th

He’s gotta speed up the offense in terms of transition points, cause as of now he’s the only one capable of finishing fast. He’s also gotta be a knockdown spot up shooter, which he’s shown to be over the past couple seasons. And he’s gotta get his points in spurts when Luka goes to the bench or if he’s cold

Probably not a specific statline but 15/5/5 is FARRRR to low of production for those things. If he averages that he’s failing at his jobs

Even if we don't need Bron as much from a scoring perspective, he is still vital in setting up buckets. I'd love to see him go deep in his Assist bag this year. Him and Luka Magic setting up plays is a very dangerous combo, considering any of the starting 5 are a legitimate scoring threat.

We just need to keep working on our defence, and I'm not 100% sold on our second unit yet. I'd like to see Laravia, Smart, Hayes and Gabe gradually get more minutes so they're all ready come playoff time.

That and defense are my main concerns. If you told me we could improve the bench scoring a bit, get another big in the rotation so Hayes can be more situational, and get one more solid defender that isn’t a total offensive liability we’d be in good shape.

Vando never developing a 3 really hampers what we could do. That would make us insane as a team.

What the Lakers need is a legit starting SF who can defend and send Rui to the bench. Thats not gonna happen, but in ideal world that’s the move

Finding a 3&D wing is the more realistic option, but it depends on what they have to give up

I think Hayes is playing really well for his role. Maxi played well for 1 game, been subpar in other min. Hopefully he turns around. LaRavia has had WIDE OPEN 3’s a lot these last 5-6 games and feels like he’s not hitting like he should. Smart gets alot of free looks also, but we already expected him to be streaky and his defense makes up for it

Man Vando don't even cut well and has 0 scoring prowess. It sucks because he is a pest on defense and brings energy but he is a 0 on the other side of the ball and makes you play 4v5. It sucks but I get it.

Agree with all of this. I love Vandos energy but he is a complete zero on offense, it's wild he hasn't progressed at all in the space.

Isn't that what he's been doing since he's been back, I don't remember taking a lot of shots since he's been back, but I could be wrong.
