Heart disease isn’t contagious. Heart disease wont make your whole team sick and not be able to show up to work. If we were closing businesses and disrupting everything because flabby folks had sore knees, I would get you.

People can catch this shyt more than once. Think about the 1% figure: you may be of the 99% this year. Who is to say whatever comes in 2024 isn’t necessarily more dangerous but your body just cant take that one? Shrugging and letting this run wild is not smart.
CDC says y’all can go to work with Covid though. No need for shut downs. :troll:

Florida and Atlanta been open this whole time :troll:

shutting down is a choice :troll:

as for the latter point unless y’all plan on force vaccinating THE ENTIRE PLANET (and even that doesn’t seem to be working as vaxx folks spreading covid like crazy rn) covid will be around like the flu. None of the variants started in America yet they all got here.

CDC is under pressure from companies who are short staffed and losing manpower from quitting and Covid. Like many things they fukked up with, they are caving to richer people who can protect themselves.

Florida is a hotspot. I dont know much about Atlanta, but De Santis and others who a vested interest in keeping things open and not taking real precautions. Every now and then “See, they are doing well!” After every spike dies down…and then they find themselves top of the nation every time it goes back up.

I dont know what point you are making here.

And yes, vaccinating the majority of the planet would be for the best. With globalization, its gonna forever trave around. By the way, viruses work in “loads”. Anyone vaccinated gives off less of viral load, stops spreading it quicker, and are less at risk of hospitalization. Mind you, the more hosts and the more time the virus gets to work, the more variants we get. Vaccinated can spread it which means we should keep up safety measures until we have better treatments, but even then, vaccinated people are generally getting sick and bouncing right back. They are not the ones fukking up the hospitals. What city are you in?

i was being sarcastic about the CDC. Y’all been saying trust the CDC and this whole time and now it’s an issue when it’s clear they’re bought :troll:

you can not force vaccinate the entire world. Y’all think y’all the world police or some shyt :mjlol: if citizens of sovereign nations say they ain’t getting it. They ain’t getting it. Y’all gonna deal with this like y’all deal with the flu. FOREVER. It will keep mutating.

My city right in my profile. But nah. Folks vaccinated and unvaccinated are getting tired of the goal post moving. This ain’t gonna last much longer.

two weeks to flatten the curve :troll:

remember when the coli said black people couldn't get it early on and was celebrating white deaths

:picard:

It took longer to get exposure and tabulate the numbers because of segregation and inadequate healthcare resources in said segregated areas :mjpls:

That’s just my theory but I’m sticking to it :hubie:

Funnily enough all the other life threatening diseases those people already had when they got to the hospital got taken over by Covid and became Covid deaths instead

Someone I knew was already on his deathbed but got Covid in the last few seconds of his life, truly an awful disease

:troll:
So you looked at the average deaths per year from all those diseases, and for 2021 they were all substantially down?

Can you post that data please? I can't find these numbers you're talking about.
