Sooooooo... I'm what I consider doing ok in life. I live in Los Angeles, make a good $4k-$5k a month, have a car, steady income, my own crib, etc. But when I look at my Ex's...

They've all turned out to be fukking losers...

These were college educated women who weren't hoes. Every Ex I've dated since HS's life has spiraled out of control. One has 2 kids by 2 different baby daddies, got fat, always complains about how she hates her job, is living check to check & is 27yrs old still staying with her sister cuz she can't afford her own spot & doesn't have a car. One still stays at the crib with her parents because she's 27, single & working part-time at a pizza hut & hates her life. And the last one is 25, single & spends all her money drinking at the club because she hates her life so she has to drink away her problems, works part-time at a retail store & sleeps on an air mattress at her sisters crib with no car.

None of my Ex's have turned out to be shyt so far... It almost makes a nikka feel guilty because I feel like if they were still with me they'd be straight...

Anyone else got loser Ex's?

When I first moved out here I was only making $2,000 a month & was still living good, bills paid, food on the table, car note, etc...

Cost of living isn't as bad as people say it is but then again it's only slightly more expensive then Chicago. I can understand someone coming from the South yeah...

If you can't live off of $5k a month then I don't know what to tell you...

i only have like one "official" ex and she's not doing that well imho. especially given her education. i mean, i can't say exactly how she's doing because i don't keep in that much contact with her but i know she has her own business doing speeches and seminars. but, at the same time, i know she lives with her mother and i know what her speeches and seminars are based on and what her perspective clientele pool looks like. she was the type that always complained or found something wrong with her job when i was with her and she always talked about working for herself (which i'm not knocking). when we were together, that's when she started the whole self-employed speaker route and now that we've been broken up, she still goes that route and that route only...

My exes:

1. Died of cancer. She had a lot of promise, though. She had just gotten accepted into MIT as a math major and was a tight-bodied genius. fukk cancer. I liked hitting that.
2. Was a country music singer. Cute little white girl with a nice ass. She dumped me and I was torn up for a while, then I got into excellent shape and went to a great school. She ended up dropping out of community college and got knocked out out of wedlock.
3. Had great grades, used to run charity stuff and had a 4.0 before we broke up. She cheated on me after I left for college, we broke up, she later dropped out of a good school, graduated from a shytty school, and just got her real estate license an has 2 kids with a supermarket manager.
4. First time I really fell in love was with my fourth girlfriend. Goddamn... that shyt hurt. She's doing all right. She got into a fourth tier law school. Still, I hope she does really well. I teasingly rub it in her face that my law school is better.
5. My last girlfriend was a nice Jewish girl. She's a research scientist and is going to UCLA for her doctorate. We're still on great terms and I wish her the best.

My girlfriends seem to have gotten better over time. I kinda want to wait to settle down, if I even decide to settle down, until my mid 30's. My stock keeps going up, and up, and up, so I kinda wanna see where this gravy train goes.

The last ex still loves with her folks in a shytty past its prime industrial city. She dropped out of college and is now in a different school to do hair, nails, etc

I have no idea how my exes are doing because I don't check up on them or keep in contact. I think people from the past over-all tend to head in multiple directions. "Progress"/aging ain't as linear as it was in high school.
