This mindset of the brits/Europeans carried on to their nephews the U.S.A who til day spend BILLIONS upon BILLIONS on advanced warfare weapons, machinery and military defense forces. All so they can have the leg up on other countries and bully them to submission and then implement puppet leaders in those countries to keep them in check (mainly Africa and parts of the Middle east).
They hate China and Russia but can't bully them because them two countries got the most nuclear weapons outside U.S. On top of that, Russia has always been notoriously hard to invade due to their huge land mass and the cold ass climate. Plus they military on point and they disciplined af.
Similar with China they now got all kinds of advanced technology and weapons that's a good decade ahead of most countries. So USA pretend to be cordial with em outta diplomacy but you always got media continously demonizing literally everything they do. I'm not saying China/Russia are good in anyway, they tyrants as well but the point is its like the Spiderman pointing at each other meme.
Them countries out east are tired of U.S.A/U.K./Europe bullying other countries unimpeded so that's why you seen this:
