also...people dont realize that COAL is used to make electricity....coal releases hydrocarbons into the air too....

coal/nuclear/hydro is used to turn turbines to create elecctricity

solar panels are basically free thru the power company....they even do your roof over...

I’m not even for banning gas cars but with electricity you can always change your source of power generation. Solar wind hydro nuclear all produce way less carbon and the waste is generated at central locations so it’s easier to manage not like gas where millions of cars, trucks and tankers are spewing waste products.
