however upon looking at my bank account ive been charged multiple times. i'll gladly pay 15 bucks a year to post, but a warning would've been nice

what if i had donated like $300? i'd be pretty mad if $300 disappeared out of my account with no warning!

but what mostly concerns me is that my debit card info was kept on file to make additional charges. whats going on here?

i would feel much more comfortable manually donating each year

I suggest you refrain from using a debit card when doing recurring payments or even one-time payments. Use a credit card or a service that uses credit to do it. Protects your bank account from these problems, and credit card charges can be disputed a lot easier than debit charges.

You should limit access to your bank accounts as much as possible.

There's a checkbox that you have to click to do monthly deductions. Maybe you checked it by accident on first payment. At least they didn't pull a Trump and have it already checked
