I personally believe viruses are ramped up into pandemics. Remember, America gradually started to put sanitary wipes and lotions in grocery stores and hospitals probably 6 years ago. I believe scientists seen covid mutations ramping up before 2020.

For sure they’re getting stronger and new viruses are coming about as well.

To my understanding from what I was told is that local community management orgs didn’t get the go ahead to aggressively confront the spread of Covid until late March as we all know but they knew exactly what the virus was and it’s potential impact since December 2019. January-March was all options weighing so they didn’t cause a public or financial panic.

SARS viruses aren’t new at all and orgs like CDC know how to contain them BUT, America hadn’t had an outbreak of a SARS virus like that before and I think we can all agree those responsible parties did a horrible job handling this sht.

I remember people calling me nuts suggesting COVID was going around in the US as far back as November/December 2019.

I caught the sht early November too so it was probably around even earlier than that. I had all the symptoms for about 10+ days. I was still coming into work. Coworkers said I looked like death management said “yea a lot of people been getting sick lately. There’s some weird bug going around.”

If you want to keep it 100% honest though, their biggest mistake during the entire pandemic was in the beginning when they insisted that masks and other supplies weren't necessary which fukked a lot of people over once the messaging changed and those supplies disappeared from the shelves.

Not only that, but their biggest mistake was telling people to self Quarantine who tested positive at airports which most people didn’t.

They forced cruise ships to stay out in the ocean when their was an outbreak, but let people who flew in leave the airport on some honor system bullshyt.

Everyone was living free, being a star, touching... feeling... no social distancing or excess hand washing sanitation (Come to Death Row!) whilst C Diddy was dancing all up in their systems and nothing was happening en masse, despite all of this.

They were not clear initially about masks in general and it's disingenuous to sit here and say otherwise espeically when we can easily pull up receipts from the CDC Director (at the time) and Fauci insisting that masks weren't necessary. Even the current CDC Director has fukked up the messaging on more than one occasion to the point that her own organization had to clarify her comments.

The Obama administration left a game plan for a pandemic from his infectious disease team under that administration. During his two terms, im sure that team seen the mutations swinging in a direction that wasn't good anyway. Trumps administration dismantled it, and it costed the nation more deaths than it had to be. Even if Covid 19 was man made, the formula for battling such viruses was placed on a back burner under Trump.
