does that seem like a good price and is that what dj's usually get?

i was interested to see his quote so i emailed him saying im a club promoter in Boston and wanted him to come spin at my Club on a Saturday night

he wanted
-$2500 cash
-2 hotel rooms
-$300 car service

so overall for like 4-5 hours of work he would get almost 4k

Its a lot of money but for a celebrity DJ affiliated with one of the biggest artists in the world, it ain't much. Some DJs get like 10 gs a night or even more. If u promote it right and sell out the whole club, it will probably be a worthwhile investment.

Certz Up ..... Hoezzzz down .....
lol call me crazy he might be looking out for you. thats not a bad price at all even though he is a DJ. I know he prob upp the price if the city or venue was further away then Boston. i also think you had to have presented your inquiry in such a fashionable manner. Must be to be nice to be a entertainer and get chunks of change and hotel rooms. these dudes make the prices up instantly. they go up and down every day. i wonder if he do mixtapes hosting for more or cheaper.

lol at him wanting it in CASH though. i learn somethin new everyday here :ohhh:

^^^ True, though dude probably has his share of $10k+ bookings in the big joints and overseas shyts, so making 2.5k on a night when you weren’t booked is better than nothing. Plus if you don’t price the promoter out, build a relationship and do 10 nights for him, that’s $25k you would never have seen if you’d just instantly told him you’re not doing it for less than 5g’s…

Whoo kid gets around like 6-10 K for regular events (which he doesn't do much). He tours internationally .. and those events he usually get north of 13 K.

if you in the tristate .. holla @ one of the hot 97 or power1051 Dj's will be in ur budget but still will be over $1000 ... just no rider like hotels n shyt. and they will show up for an hour to spin. u can use them to promote.

I'm bringing Dj envy to jersey two weeks from now. I brought mister cee last week
