Will definitely be worth the watch...people tend to forget that the Detective and other Batman comics/games were so great because of the city of Gotham...Gotham is a dynamic world of diverse characters...it can easily be the setting for a great tv show, so I don't know what OP is talking about...Batman wouldn't be great without the world of Gotham

But, the shows looks aight. I just cant be bothered to trust fox. I almost watched that almost human show.

So is this show a prequal to bruce becoming batman? How old is he in this show? I assume no joker penguin etc... since they were created by batman being there right?

It's the story of Jim Gordon dealing with the riff raff of Gotham before they become super criminals. Most of his rouge's gallery is in it just not in fully realized forms so Penguin is in it as a goon for a mob boss..riddler is in it but I forget his role and catwoman is in it as just a petty cat burglar I think and she's close to Bruce's age. The first season will be Gordon's investigation into who killed Bruce's parents so Bruce will be about 8 I think. Maybe a little older
