last year there was so much celebration over this school and even the athletes & figureheads were cosigning heavy.

fast forward a year and now its like they dont even know em.

SMU had a piss-poor football season and the b-ball team is off to a so-so start.

whats going on down there? wheres the coli correspondents?

Anyway, I don't have a dog in the fight because I am not a fan of any DFW schools, I just live here. But there are a shyt ton of SMU alumni around town. The ones I know love SMU sports. A good buddy of mine goes to almost every SMU football and basketball game. But for the most part, I just think they are so used to the football team sucking, and the basketball team being good is still fairly new, it's hard to drum up genuine passion when you know you're not winning anything of note.

Why the face? Baylor's football team went 11-1 and their Basketball team is currently 8-1. No one I know gaf about SMU.

nobody was rockin with SMU football last year, and nobody was rockin w/ SMU bball last year until it was possible for them to make the NCAA tourney down the stretch.

Unless it's the Cowboys, most Dallas sports fans are fickle.
