He’s been good a solid 3.5, he was eager to do arenas, fukk Disney broads and on but he’s not been on that other level since his 3 first. Basically he’s getting the same love and reviews as a Justin Bieber or Ed Sheeran. But not that Sza, Beyoncé, Anderson Paak, Frank Ocean love that he was getting from the pretty large group of people who know good music. But who cares about us when there’s a billion people that like simple pop? :yeshrug:

He's basically Jay-z or Nas in 98-00, on occasion they showed that they were the best rappers but generally they were trying to become the biggest rap stars to the point that they tried to do it without making the best music possible.

Him and Frank Ocean are tied for peaking on their debut mixtapes, and then falling off tremendously afterwards

Lol Franks albums are better than his
Mixtapes

I'm not qualified to make that statement since I don't really listen to male r&b shyt. But I will say House Of Balloons is one of the top 5 or 10 best "albums" of the last decade and easily one of the most influential.

nope after earned it he went full rage on pop! dont get me wrong he still has his moments but the "best" :francis:

Frank hasn't had a dull moment and Nostalgia Ultra is damn near flawless writing.. Daniel Caesar dropped one of the best r&b records last year shyt even 6lack is going hard. H.E.R is dope as fukk... all of them have been dropping better r&b

but Abel has those hits hopefully Travis is right about his next cd
