In this article Chase basically said the Pre-Young Money Drake wanted to be down with Surf Club so bad but they felt their "machine" wasn't big enough to push an artist & felt he needed someone with more "resources" so they took him to Interscope but they only wanted to sign him as a writer & Chase basically told them fukk naw & told Drake he was a star but the Surf Club brand couldn't push him the way he needed to be pushed...
