So Hittman was on 10 songs on 2001 but just disappeared from the rap game?

Now i wish i didnt read that interview

Dubcnn: I think Ben Baller said you would write for Ice Cube?

Hittman: That was something that I was considering at that time, but he already had his writer and he was cool with that. So that was something I ended up passing on.

I've been wondering about this shyt for a while man. But the more I grow the more I realize that 2001 would have been great without him and not the other way around, and the more you think about it he might have gone platinum on the strength of being on 2001 alone but he didn't have the charisma of a Snoop, Eminem, 50 or Game. And wouldn't have had much of a career outside of that.

Too bad, cause I like Hittman and I would have been down for a Dre produced album. shyt would have been great as he fit the 2001 beats more than others.

And low key he was the highlight of that album for the most part. He killed all his verses. If Kurupt hadn't come through and crushed the buildings that woulda been Hitmans album.

I've often thought about Hit-Man and why he was featured prominently on the album than it's like he just vanished. He never even got to release an album did he? Maybe Dre just used him up and threw him to the side when he was done with him.

Mel Man went on to start the label Big Cat which was home to Gucci Mane at one point.
