What are you overall thoughts on Midget Manziel's play? How much did he disapppoint you, if at all? Do you think this game means anything in long run?

Like hot garbage and the playcalling didn't help him either. They kept him on a short leash and didn't let him even attempt to get into a rhythm, and when he did throw, he did shyt that worked at College that doesn't work in the pros.

What does it mean, it's one game, but this is the Coli where one game decides if you're a hall of famer or a bust :yeshrug:

This game showed me what I already knew...he has little chance of success just like any other qb not named Brady or P. Manning playing for the Browns

It's hard to judge Midget's performance when the Browns only let him throw a disjointed 18 times. I did see Manziel scramble and toss a prayer into the end zone right into Pacman Jones' waiting hands. Still, Manziel has sat and learned over the course of a year. His performance yesterday was as poor and unproductive as any Geno Smith ever produced -- and Geno has neither a line nor receivers. Manziel didn't manage to score one point despite a dominant run game and Josh Gordan as his #1.

Have you seen a dumpster fire before?

He doesn't seem ready to throw against pro defenses. Throwing into coverage, throwing late, he looked worse than Geno Smith.

On a positive note, at least he has plenty of room to improve.:ld:

although it was one game, he looks nowhere near ready for the NFL.

He had better get out of that "just throw it up in panic mode" style that bailed him out in A&M. Mike Evans isnt there to save you, and this isnt Arkansas/Missouri, etc defenses.

validated what I thought. I knew he would struggle, still doesn't have a command of the west coast offense. Steve Maruicci on NFL Network broke down some of his stuff, Manziel was literally making up drops :dead: 9 steps with 4 hitches and shyt...5 1/2 steps 3 hitches. Timing was all off. He was wondering what he has been doing for the past 14 weeks :mindblown: This would have been acceptable week 1 but week 14, nah you gotta have this down pact by now. I know Manziel is just shy of 6' and Russell has broke the mold down, but Manziel got a shyt ton of passes batten down. His release isn't as high as wilson's, The only way the ball didn't get battered down if he had dropped back 6-7 yards deep or if he side armed it

Also I couldn't tell at A&M if it was sumlin or manziel. I knew case keenum broke mad NCAA records with sumlin but it was only another person to base the system from. It wasn't enough. The moment Kenny Hill in his first start broke all of manziels records, I knew the shyt was all smoke and mirrors and Johnny was a system QB. Skip Bayless tried to sweep it under the rug when it happened as well which made the point even better. We all know how much he loves his fav players :youngsabo:

Not sure if its gonna matter tho, we all know he is :mjpls: so :mjpls: gonna give him a pass.

Just for this informative post I'll let it slide that you fail to mention your unabashed support for Manziel and continuous Bridgewater bashing over the course of the year. :mjpls:

Midget has poor pocket fundamentals, notably worse than RG3 at this point. He holds onto the ball too long and runs into sacks, exactly as I predicted he would. Midget doesn't throw with proper footwork, additionally his release point is too low. Wilson's release point is high and over-the top, which allows him to throw over much bigger defenders. Midget changes his release point like Stafford but doesn't have Stafford's arm or height. Stafford can afford to throw late to the sideline and randomly change his release. Midget can't right now. Midget needs to improve in every concievably way to suceed as a NFL QB, and he probably won't. Ray Farmer should have drafted Teddy Godwater :mjpls:

Blaine Gabbert has plenty of room to improve too. Unfortunately he will probably never reach his potential precisely because of how much he must improve to even become a seviceable NFL starter. Manziel might be in the same boat. Geno has similarities to the too, but has already improved massively to this point, which is encouraging. Manziel's mechanics and footwork are all over the place. He's like a 5th rounder QB right now. :ld:
