I personally think he's funny.

I like his stand-up and his sitcom but he would definitely fall into that category Aries was talking about because he didn't really come up in the black comedy circuit.

His material isn't that cliche ass "black people do this white people do that" shyt either

i only heard him on the brilliant idiots podcast seems to be doing big things career wise. ive never seen his show but meant to check it out. though his manner of speaking w/ broken sentences, stuttering and whatnot was so annoying that i nearly had to cut it off.

He's ruthless yet cool. I like that he digs deep. That type of honesty and openness is rare in black comedians because a lot of em stay tryna do "the black thing". He's one of the best out just of the strength of the risks he takes.

I think he'd be a better writer than a comedian.

I get what he's saying, but it comes off too forced to be truly funny. He's obsessed with breaking stereotypes, and you can see he's heavily influenced by someone like Chappelle, and he tries to be offensive and beligerent in a thought provoking way, but he lacks the delivery to pull it off in a comedic way. It just comes off offensive, minus the humor. So I could see why someone would say he's a c00n, even though I doubt he is.
