I started this book about 10 years ago. I thought it was dope at the time, but the more I read it, I didn't care for it enough to do anything with it. I saved it anyway and had no intention to go any further with it. Couple years ago, my homie wanted to see my writing before he hired me to write one for him. But he read a few chaptrs of this book I wrote and then he wanted to put this one out.
I had to fix/change so many things, take stuff out, add stuff, etc. before I finally decided it was time to drop it. Now it's dropping on Friday, my first book ever.
The book is set in the 90s and early 2000s, and it's about a kid who enters high school in '90 and decided he wants to be a rapper. From there, it follows his life through the years, along with his friends and family... goes through relationships, street shyt, music industry shyt, family shyt, etc... lil' of everything in here.
