What up everybody! Just recently bought a ASUS gaming PC and i must say its quite nice. Its fully loaded with:

i7 Skylake
16 Gig DDR4
2TB
256 SSD
Blu-Ray Dr
GTX 980

Its the first time i've bought a pc fully assembled in a long time, as i usually build all my PC's. My last build however spontaneosly caught fire and nearly burned my house down, so i've been banned from building any more new PC's by my wife.

Anyways, anyone considering getting a new desktop but not interested in building should strongly consider the ASUS PCs. They're fairly priced and really nice. Really liking mine so far. Plus i coupled mine with the new wide screen LG monitor (34") so my Fallout 4 experience is about to be on FLEEK!!!

Fallout 4 doesn't natively support ultra wide. Gotta get a program for that. Just FYI

The wide screen gaming forum should help you out.

grown man with a wife using the term fleek, :patrice:
but building>prebuilt
the satisfaction of doing it yourself:ahh:
I hate building my own PC
I recently built one with these specs
i7 Skylake
16GB DDR4 RAM
980 Ti
500GB SSD
Internal Blu Ray Burner

Damn thing was randomly blue screening for several weeks. Turns out my RAM was bad but I had to figure that out myself. That 40 minute second drive back to Microcenter on a gamble that was my issue wasn't fun. The PC heads on a different forum thought my hard drive was bad but I knew otherwise.

More details...
Yeah it was the craziest thing. I came home one day and my house was filled with smoke! Thanks god the CO2 detector was working and ADT called the fire dept. only one room was burnt but my entire house had significant smoke damage. Fire investigators feels the power supply (corsair 800 watt) was the culprit. Ironically this occurred about 2 weeks after I installed a new GTX 970 into the PC. Thankfully insurance paid for damage, renovations, as well as cost of replacing my items, so I now have a practically brand new house and brand new stuff. Instead of rebuilding a new pc (which my wife won't allow) I decided to just buy a prebuilt. I kept hearing Asus had the most reliable joints, so I went with them. Computer runs like a dream. Very anxious to start playing games on it.

Damn. A house fire's like my biggest worry. Glad it didn't fukk too much stuff up and insurance covered it.
