The end of trailer where Lenny is breaking down in tears too much :to:

Dude had all the talent in the world but probably needed a better circle of mentors. When you're young, you feel invincible.

its not like lebron had it any better, hes just motivated and simply wanted it more

the problem wasnt that he left school early...the problem is dude has tumbleweeds for brains...wouldnt listen...and didnt wanna work...

he wouldve failed in college too

I should expatiated a little bit more.

It's a precautionary tale for top prospects if they listen to the wrong people, get caught up in their own hype, and not put in the work necessary to get to where they want to go.

The scene where he was at a basketball camp, and dude was just standing off to the side refusing to participate in drills:mjlol:

And they CGI his older self talking to his younger self about hard work and positive attitude :russ:

On a positive note he's a pretty good cook now. You saw him whipping up those deviled eggs for his birthday party? Mmm mmm:cook:

On a negative note how fukked up is it that he had to cook all the food and do all the decorations for his 30th birthday? Meanwhile Lebron celebrating his 30th at Liv with $50,000 bottles of Dom P with sparklers inside. :pachaha:

Amar’e Stoudemire did not recognize the smiling man advancing toward him, dressed in oversize clothing to camouflage his ample girth. Recognition only came when the man could lean close and say, “It’s me, Lenny Cooke.”

Stoudemire did a double take before embracing Cooke.

“It had been a few years, and he had picked up a hundred pounds or so,” Stoudemire said, recalling the moment. “It was a little shocking.”

The courtside scene that took place after a Bulls-Knicks game at Madison Square Garden last April repeated itself with Anthony, who would say: “Just to see him now, not doing anything, as far as basketball goes, and so much bigger, it just seemed sad. You wondered why.”
