Didn't really like it.

I loved it when it came out but now I look at it as some corny "let's come together and forget all the racism" sports movie with cliche music music and cheesy inspirational lines.

I will say that it does have an impressive cast that went on to good careers.

This is a personal classic for me and one of Denzel's best performances. Being that it was a Disney film they had to obviously leave out cursing among other things. It's been playing regularly on cable, and it's one of those movies I watch whenever it's on.
