So if Dirk replaced Amare how would the Knicks do?

My friend, a Knicks fan here in Dallas, was telling me if Dirk was on the Knicks instead of Amare they would win at least 2 championships in the next 3-4 years. I wasn't sure what to say about it I was like you might be right.

Chemistry and defense. Amare is trash defensively but his athleticism gets him some blocks and rebounds atleast. Without a solid starter at PG the relationship between Melo and Dirk would ruin the team. It took Amare until this postseason to finally have a serious issue about touches.

Dirk would be able to take better advantage of the double teams Melo gets near the post though....
